In General at All Levels,We teach our students how to be leaders of their dogs. The teaching involves one-on one coaching and group discussions with demonstrations. Leadership is something dogs need, and that need is genetically programmed. There must be a leader, so it may as well be you - in fact, everything goes better when you are in charge. People often allow their dogs to lead without realizing what they’re doing. Our focus is on fun, happy, speedyobedience in a willing and eager dog.Puppy Classes - under 6 monthsPuppies are so eager to please that it’s a great time to establish your leadership for life. At the same time, they don’t know any of the rules! Biting too hard, using the carpet as a litter box, jumping on everyone and tearing stuff up, are all normal puppy things. Any and all challenges you may bring up are dealt with in class along with all the obedience exercises you will learn; such as coming when called, sit and down with stay, walking without pulling, playing appropriately, and preparing for more formal work.
All of the above exercises are centered around putting you in the position of Pack Leader.
Intermediate & Advanced Classes(Enrollment in this class requires graduation from the Beginner Level.)
The lessons in this class focus on the handler becoming more effective in all of the exercises from the previous class level plus learning new exercises when ready, including jumping, retrieval of dumbbells, drop on command, send away with sit, heeling off leash, and the more complex requirements in the Open and Utility Levels.
