In a consulting session, we will spend as much   time   as   it   takes with you and your dog, coaching you on effective handling techniques. We start with an analysis of the problem(s), explain the behavioral basis for the dog’s behavior, and describe the solution(s). Next, we’ll demonstrate how to do your role in the rehabilitation process, and then hand the leash to you. In   this   stage,   you   will   be   coached   on your body language, command and praise tones, and correction levels that are appropriate to your dog, and the timing of your praise. The session is only over when you tell us that you completely understand what to do, and have demonstrated to us that you are doing the training correctly. Next, we’ll help you construct   a   training   schedule , talk about duration of each event, and plan to expand the sphere in which your dog will learn the new behavior(s). Finally, we will provide you with our telephone and email contacts. We will give you backup verbal coaching should you need it. COSTS A. $495 when human + dog aggression is involved B. $395 for dog aggression + multiple behaviour solutions. C. $295 for single behaviours, eg pulling on walks or jumping or separation anxiety. All taxes are included.
Typical Testimonial: Hi Barry, To say I was skeptical that these dogs could be ‘fixed’ in just an hour consult session is an understatement. At first when I saw how the dogs responded to you and I thought maybe you had some sort of magical dog whisperer type vibe that would wear off once you left. Then I thought, we’ll give this a day or two and the dogs will stop responding to the prong collar and I’ll be back at square one. I am pleased to report that after a month of walking almost every single day, it’s not gotten worse but has improved each and every time. Thanks so much! Megan
